Bio
Born in southwestern North Dakota, Anne Marie began painting in oils in her early teens. She studied her craft diligently and sold her first commissioned piece at age sixteen.
Anne Marie earned a degree in Commercial and Advertising Art from Bismarck State College. In her final year of studies, she had the privilege to provide architectural photographs to a national engineering firm. She continued her career in the arts at North Dakota State University, creating instructional materials; shooting photographs for magazine layouts and creating displays for the ND Sunflower Growers Association.
In 1992, Anne Marie engaged in a demanding corporate career which pulled her from her artwork for over two decades. In late 2012, she completed "Quiet Contemplation", and began producing pieces that inspired her.
Her art can be found in private collections across the United States and Western Europe and has been on exhibit in corporate and gallery settings since 2012.
Anne Marie's goal is to create works of art that engage the viewer allowing for a personal connection.
